Braille Face

Written between his Melbourne home, inspirational visits to Japan, and a month of writing in Gotye's New York home studio, Braille Face's Lightletting EP showcases a depth of songwriting and production nuance, highlighting his evolution as an artist.

In only five tracks, Braille Face claims a place as part of the new wave of Australian songwriter/producers, tackling a variety of topics from family dynamics and relationship breakdown, to social media activism and finding hope in hopeless times.

The Malheureux EP acts as the parallel-universe companion to the recently released Lightletting EP.

It’s five tracks provide an alternative perspective into what was a period of intense creative growth for Braille Face, that saw him writing music across a variety of topics, across a number of inspiring cities including New York City, Tokyo and Melbourne.

When listened to as a pair, the two EPs reveal a unique and restlessly adventurous musician harnessing new powers and unlocking new levels of finesse and expression. It’s a deep and vibrant collection of songs that set the stage for what comes next.
